"Dewald Nolte Co-founder and VP Business Development at Entersekt Dewald Nolte helped establish Entersekt in 2008, and later took up the position of VP of Business Development for the company. Having identified an urgent need for innovative new approaches to securing digital transactions and other sensitive data, he and his fellow co-founders set out to build a business that is dedicated to providing transaction authentication using digital certificate technology deployed to mobile phones. A computer engineer by training, Dewald exchanged writing code for working on the business side, where he has a unique ability to identify and drive new ideas and innovation. With digital services becoming so central to consumers’ daily lives, online and mobile channels promise to be as transformative as any technology that has come before. In his current role, Dewald’s focus is on identifying how organizations can more easily unlock that huge potential. Dewald holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Computer Science from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa), completing the degree with an internship at the Ecole Centrale d’Electronique (France)."
