AEVI and EVO Payments International Join Forces to Enhance Payments Across Europe

AEVI, provider of global ‘face-to-face’ payment transaction solutions and a marketplace for B2B apps, and EVO, a leading acquirer and payment service provider in North America and Europe, announced their launch of a close strategic platinum partnership to extend EVO’s access, capabilities and performance in the Pan-European market.

AEVI will be part of EVO´s offering to merchants, with AEVI’s sophisticated payment processing system enhancing EVO’s portfolio by addressing high-priority pain points that merchants, banks and independent ATM deployers encounter in daily operations. AEVI’s end-to-end solution processes payment transactions on any device, across all channels, borders and currencies, through a single gateway. It is a flexible and holistic system that provides advanced capabilities and efficiencies in cross-border payments, adapting to merchants’ existing infrastructure and preferences. AEVI’s payment solution addresses the entire customer life-cycle, from banks to merchants to the ‘face-to-face’ buying process for the consumer. This is achieved through the potential of AEVI’s B2B App Marketplace.

Non-bank entrants continue to enter the payment market, offering simpler payment solutions to consumers and merchants, but AEVI has harnessed its heritage in the payment industry, as a subsidiary of Wincor-Nixdorf to challenge this. AEVI are combining this heritage of knowledge and experience with their own forward-thinking strategies and technologies to provide unrivalled payment solutions, hence creating strong competition to nonbank entrants and bringing banks and acquirers back into the payment race.

AEVI works with banks and merchant acquirers who distribute the AEVI solution directly to merchants. EVO has selected AEVI in recognition of their innovative yet trustworthy solution that ensures improvements in face-face payments for all parties. Hans Langenhuizen, Sales & Marketing Director at AEVI says: “Together, we will overcome the barriers of complex integrations, regulation and certifications”.

“Delivering best-in-class solutions is a core goal of EVO,” says Nicole Mantow, General Manager of EVO in Germany. “Therefore we are delighted about the cooperation with AEVI, bringing such an innovative and reliable payment solutions to the European market.”

All across the European market, EVO will offer merchants, independent sales organisations, financial institutions, government organisations and multinational corporations the AEVI solution, including access to a white-labelled, hardware-independent, fully integrated end-to-end solution portfolio, which extends cross-border capabilities in accepting and processing face-to-face payment transactions across Pan-European Countries. AEVI’s solution enables EVO’s merchants who operate cross-border, multi-channels the ability to consolidate and integrate business transactions, whether using traditional or mobile payment methods, into a simple payment processing system.
