Frank Lambe, Chairman of the Emerging Payments Association comments“2015 promises to see an increase in the pace of change in the Payments space driven by new innovations in how consumers and companies can make payments. A significant amount of innovation comes directly from new entrants to the marketplace, in particular new start-up companies. The launch of the Catalyst is a fantastic addition to the London business scene. It will provide a place in the heart of the City where new companies and entrepreneurs can work and exchange ideas and also where the more seasoned individuals come and provide assistance and advice. I certainly am delighted to add my support to this major initiative and would encourage other Payment professionals to do likewise”

Scott Abrahams, Group Head of Acceptance and Emerging Payments, MasterCard UK&I said: “Start’s ups within the payments industry often find it difficult to find the right level of guidance, education and support to help them develop their businesses. It is therefore refreshing to find this type of business guidance at The Catalyst and MasterCard is keen to lend its support. We look
forward to working with all the members of the Emerging Payments Association to make this innovation hub a success.”
