Amana Bank, the First Islamic Bank in Tanzania and Umoja Switch will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish ATM Card service.
Speaking at a dinner party prepared for the corporate, medium and small Amana Bank customers here over the weekend, the Amana bank’s Marketing and Delivery Channels Manager, Mr Dassu Mussa said that since the introduction of Diaspora account the demand for ATM card had increased.
“Amana Bank is delighted to extend yet another attractive option under to establish an ATM Card service to the public and its customers looking to buy or make their business transactions while they are abroad.
The ATM service launch will be relevant especially this time where Amana Bank has introduced a Kilimanjaro Diaspora Account. This is the account designed to cater for the banking services needs for Tanzanians who are living abroad.
He said that in line with ATM card service, there is also need to pioneer holidays and week-end bank services due to demand pressure of the bank’s customers who see importance of the Amana Bank’s management to think about it.
The Amana Bank Mwanza Branch Manager, Mr Saleh Said, was eying to launch consumer Finance service next week to make sure that the customers have assurance of having real banking service through the new service of consumer financing service especially this time of stiff competition in the banking sector.
