Arrabet, a major player in digital transformation in Morocco, has partnered with Skaleet, a leader in next-generation core banking solutions in Europe and Africa, to launch a new neo-banking offering dedicated to the African market.
Arrabet announced the deal in a press release Wednesday. This partnership aims to transform access to digital financial services and address the growing need for banking inclusion on the continent.
This union comes as the number of fintech companies on the continent nearly tripled between 2020 and 2024. However, despite this growth, only 20-30% of African bank customers use digital banking services, compared with around 50% in Asia and Latin America, Arrabet added.
Arrabet and Skaleet will offer banks a comprehensive solution for launching or modernizing their digital banking services. This partnership aims to provide flexible, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to the needs of emerging markets.
