CPI Card Group, a global leader in financial, EMV and commercial card production, and related services, announced that Barry Mosteller, director of research and development for the company, was recognized with the Outstanding Member Service Award at the ICMA 25th Anniversary Expo in Phoenix, Ariz.
The Outstanding Member Service Award is bestowed on a member that continually gives time and expertise to the International Card Manufacturers Association. Mosteller was recognized as being a great asset to the association and to the ICMA board through chairing the Personalization Performance Metrics task force; actively recruiting new members into the association; his efforts to increase membership size; enlisting CPI to produce the ‘Save the Date’ card for the EXPO; and for being a regular presenter at ICMA events and a board member for four years.
“Barry’s knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication to ICMA and the card industry is very much appreciated by our global membership,” said Albert Vrancart, ICMA industry advisor and founder emeritus.
With 22 years of experience in card manufacturing, EMV, research and development, project management and marketing, Mosteller has led the development of many significant innovations in card technologies and materials, and authored or co-authored five card-related patents. Mosteller is also ACE-M (manufacturing) and ACE-P (perso) accredited.
“We are honored to call Barry part of the CPI family,” said Steve Montross, president and CEO of CPI Card Group. “Through his industry knowledge, dedication and leadership, it’s team members like Barry that have helped establish CPI as the best in the industry and we are humbled by this recognition from our partners at ICMA.”
