Eastern Bank Expands ATM Network at Service Plazas Throughout Massachusetts

Eastern Bank customers will now enjoy free access to 17 ATMs at rest stops along the Massachusetts Turnpike and select portions of Interstate 95 and Rte. 3, as the bank announced today that it has signed a branding and licensing agreement with Paramount Management Group.

“We’re always on the lookout for ways to make banking more convenient for our customers, so we jumped on the opportunity to sign this agreement with Paramount,” said Joe Bartolotta, Eastern Bank’s marketing director. “In addition to greater convenience for our customers, we will certainly benefit from the exposure this agreement provides.”

Fourteen of the cash-dispensing ATMs are located in the Massachusetts Department of Transportation’s “Travel Service Plazas” along the Mass Pike in Blandford, Lee, Ludlow, Charlton, Framingham, Westborough, and Natick.

Three additional cash-dispensing ATMs are located at the Rte. 128/I-95 Northbound service plaza in Lexington, the Rte. 128/I-95 Southbound service plaza in Newton, and at the Rte. 3 service plaza at Exit 5 in Plymouth (“Long Pond Road”).

The agreement with Paramount Management Group, a national leader in managing self-service ATM kiosks, gives Eastern Bank exclusive branding rights at each service plaza, which includes highway and plaza signs, ATM surrounds and custom screens.

“We are excited to partner with Eastern Bank,” said Michael J. Tedesco, Chief Marketing Officer, Paramount Management Group. “Our goal was to find the right bank that could provide travelers with the best financial resources that they need while on the road. Eastern Bank proved to be the best partner for this job, chiefly because of its commitment to a quality ATM experience for all.”
