Exim Bank Unveils ‘Vision 2016

Exim Bank Tanzania Limited has embarked on implementing its Vision 2016 that seeks to double its balance sheet and increase market share in deposits by 2016.

Being the sixth largest bank in the country in terms of total deposits and assets, Exim Bank has set its eyes on an ambitious target for the year 2016. The management has worked upon the Vision 2016 for the bank and started to cascade the strategy to all its employees.

Speaking during the bank’s internal strategic meeting for cascading Vision 2016 held in Dar es Salaam recently, Exim Bank Chief Executive Officer, Mr Dinesh Arora, said that EXIM Bank sees immense opportunities in the country and hence have put in lot of enablers, strengthened its team to achieve the ambitious goal of Vision 2016.

“We will continue with our quest into becoming the most preferred and innovative bank in the country. This achievement can only be realised if we continue being the most customer-focused bank in Tanzania by offering the best quality services and products that will go beyond and above our customers’ expectations.

“Based on our motto ‘Innovation is Life,’ we will keep on investing in new banking technologies to better our banking services. We as Exim Bank Tanzania are committed to providing our esteemed customers with a great everyday banking service,” he stressed.

Adding further, Mr Arora mentioned that ‘Faster turnaround’ has been our USP; blended with the best in class technology platform and processes, we wish to surprise our customers with an exceptional experience of banking service.

All the 374 employees of the bank’s head office and branches in Dar es Salaam participated enthusiastically in the event braving the rains.

It was a very interactive session with presentations by all head of departments and participation of all the employees. The bank also recognised its employees for their longevity by giving out the long service awards on the occasion.
