Powa Technologies announced that GoNet, a leading global technology services company based in Mexico, has completed integration of its PST point-of-sale software solution with its PowaPOS retail payments platform. The partnership between these two companies will help to introduce full-featured tablet-based payments solutions to the Mexican retail market, as well as extend availability of an advanced POS solution to GoNet’s customers in Latin America, Spain and the U.S.
“Powa has created one of the more revolutionary and elegant fixed point of sale platforms available to help us serve the small to mid-sized retail market,” said Alejandro Guzmán, Digital Business GoNet Director. “Our experience working with the hardware was enhanced by the ease of the SDK integration. Our team was able to have the PST solution fully integrated and ready to provide to retailers in just three days.”
Mario Saldivar, GoNet CEO, added, “Reselling Powa’s innovative global solution to our customers supports our overall Digital Business strategy, and will consistently drive the value of our company.”
PowaPOS is the first point of sale platform purpose built for tablet-based payments. Its fully integrated design rids merchants of the need for mismatched peripherals and provides industry-leading ease of set-up. Features include a built in thermal printer, 2D QR/barcode scanner, orientation sensor, as well as the optional PowaPOS Cash Drawer – all in a compact footprint and powered by a single cord. With its advanced SDK, PowaPOS is the only tablet-based platform to easily integrate with all POS software applications across all operating systems. The PowaPOS Developer Program also supports third party payment devices, including NFC/Apple Pay devices, and PowaTag, Powa’s innovative mobile commerce enablement app.
GoNet provides a wide range of technology services to global markets. Among those is its PST (Point of Service Terminal) mobile services platform. The PST solution, designed for iOS devices, helps small to mid-sized merchants process payments and operate their businesses more efficiently, while taking advantage of the technology, ease and flexibility that mobile devices provide. Features include payment transactions, catalogue access and product search, inventory control, and employee management.
“PowaPOS is pleased to launch in Mexico with GoNet, one of Latin America’s true innovators in the global technology services space,” said Serafin Fuente, Head of Latin America/Caribbean, PowaPOS. “With GoNet’s established presence in the Latin American market, combined with Powa’s reach in the U.S. and Europe, this partnership will allow both companies to grow their businesses and help merchants meet their business needs.”
