InventCommerce announced the move to larger offices in Cape Town to accommodate their continuing growth in the region.
InventCommerce founders Kevin Ludford and Jason Bramsden started the company with the aim of building an innovative eCommerce platform and solutions integrator business to support retailers and merchants, dedicated to helping their clients leverage the best from their eCommerce platform investment through expert solution delivery and innovation. In 2012 the company expanded its London operations to Cape Town where they have achieved significant project wins that see the company expanding their team to accommodate the demand from clients.
Kevin Ludford comments on the company’s growth in the region:
‘We are delighted with the success we are seeing in South Africa. Since the offices opened last year we have invested heavily in the certification of staff and building a strong, capable team that will allow us to consistently deliver highly successful projects. With the rapid rate of growth of eCommerce in South Africa we predict that eCommerce will start to gain huge importance in the country by 2014. We will continue to support retailers in the region as the landscape changes in order to ensure growth can continue.’
In response to the growth of eCommerce in the region, InventCommerce will be holding an event in Cape Town on the 12th November to support South African retailers as they move online. The event will include talks from CEO Kevin Ludford and CTO Jason Bramsden on the aspects to consider when selecting your next eCommerce platform, an introduction to Magento and Hybris, as well as key decisions when making the move online.
