Parche, a Chicago-based startup that provides a cashless, on-demand valet parking experience on mobile devices, officially launched – ending the days of waiting in valet lines in the freezing Chicago winter and dashing to the ATM for cash to pay attendants. Parche’s free mobile app allows consumers to seamlessly pay and tip for valet parking, and request their cars when they are ready to depart, without ever leaving the table, from any smartphone device.
After successfully piloting the app at some of Chicago’s trendiest restaurants over Valentine’s Day weekend, Parche’s new mobile valet platform has been warmly embraced by restaurant owners and valet operators alike. Parche is currently accepted at many locations throughout the city, and with support from prominent restaurant groups Rockit Ranch Productions, DineAmic Hospitality Group and Mercadito Hospitality, more than 20 new locations are poised to join Parche’s growing network in the next couple of weeks.
“Parche is a smartphone app that makes valet parking an effortless experience. We saw a huge inefficiency in how valet works today. The time to get your car back, the wait outside in the brutal Chicago weather, the cash payment and tipping, it’s frustrating and inconvenient,” said Christian Peneff, Co-Founder & CEO of Parche. “With Parche, you simply register and scan your valet ticket to request your car. The app notifies you when your vehicle is pulled up, so you can walk out, jump in and drive off. We’re saving customers’ time, while enabling local businesses to offer their valued patrons an overall better experience.”
Identifying the demand for a better way to park, dine, and depart without delay, Parche’s co-founders Christian and Pavel Peneff tapped local mobile-focused digital agency, Vokal, to create the ultimate valet experience that is as simple as it is beautiful. The agency’s team of developers and engineers designed the app using the latest smartphone technology with real-time communication and secure payment automation.
“The combination of Christian and Pavel’s vision for Parche and our development and design expertise has resulted in a mobile platform that will revolutionize the way people experience valet parking in Chicago and elsewhere,” said Reid Lappin, Founder & CEO of Vokal. “Plus, it’s even more exciting when Chicago entrepreneurs and a leading Chicago digital agency join forces to build a product for Chicagoans to enjoy. It’s the perfect example of the type of home-grown innovation that’s reinforcing the city’s vibrant and growing tech scene.”
