RedotPay Integrates Ripple Payments to Extend Stablecoin Reach and Launches “Send Crypto, Receive NGN”

RedotPay, a global stablecoin-based payment fintech, today announced a strategic partnership with Ripple, the financial technology company known for delivering crypto-enabled business solutions.

Through this collaboration, the company will extend its stablecoin payment capabilities and introduce new, faster cross-border payout options powered by Ripple’s enterprise-grade payments infrastructure. As part of this expansion, they are launching its new “Send Crypto, Receive NGN” feature, alongside enhanced multi-market payouts enabled through Ripple Payments, Ripple’s licensed cross-border payments solution.

The new “Send Crypto, Receive NGN” feature enables verified RedotPay users with local Nigerian bank accounts to convert digital assets into local currency quickly, securely, and at far lower cost than traditional remittance channels. By combining stablecoin rails with Ripple’s fast and reliable payment network, RedotPay is establishing a streamlined pathway for users to send digital assets from anywhere and receive NGN within minutes.

“Delivering near-instant, cost-effective NGN payouts is a significant milestone,” said Michael Gao, CEO and Co-Founder of RedotPay. “RedotPay is building stablecoin-powered payments that make digital assets as seamless as using local currency, where users can send XRP or stablecoins securely and receive NGN within minutes. The integration of Ripple Payments will expand the company’s global reach and better serve our users’ evolving needs. We remain focused on making digital finance accessible, secure, and efficient for everyone.”

Addressing Global Remittance Pain Points

The cross-border remittance industry continues to face major inefficiencies. Globally, sending money remains costly—average fees sit at 6.49%—and settlement times often range from one to five business days, causing delays for workers, families, and businesses alike. These persistent challenges have fuelled demand for digital alternatives that offer greater speed, affordability, and transparency.

According to Chainalysis, the Asia-Pacific region is currently the fastest-growing market worldwide for on-chain stablecoin activity, driven heavily by adoption in trading, payments, and remittances. The company is aligning its strategy with this momentum. By integrating Ripple Payments, the company’s new NGN payout feature directly addresses long-standing pain points in global transfers. It leverages the efficiency of blockchain-based settlement and Ripple’s licensed payout network to deliver near-instant settlement, predictable costs, and real-time transaction visibility—features that consumers increasingly expect in a digital economy.

Payouts through “Send Crypto, Receive NGN” typically settle within minutes, offering a major improvement over traditional rails. The feature currently supports a wide portfolio of popular cryptocurrencies, including USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH, SOL, TON, S, TRX, XRP, and BNB. Support for Ripple’s upcoming stablecoin, RLUSD, will be added once available. The feature is accessible to all verified RedotPay users with a local bank account. In a standard transaction, a user initiates a transfer by sending XRP or another supported asset through RedotPay, and NGN is automatically deposited into the designated Nigerian bank account.

Jack Cullinane, Head of Commercial for Asia Pacific at Ripple, commented on the partnership, stating: “Our partnership with RedotPay demonstrates the real-world utility of our licensed payments solution in solving the immense friction of global cross-border payments. Ripple Payments makes sending money across borders faster, more reliable and affordable for consumers and businesses alike.”

Advancing Multi-Market Access

The launch of the NGN payout feature is designed to meet the needs of modern users, including digital nomads, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and workers living abroad who need efficient, low-cost ways to send funds back home. It also supports the growing number of users who rely on cryptocurrency holdings as a means of global value transfer.

“Send Crypto, Receive NGN” builds on RedotPay’s broader multi-market payout strategy, which already includes “Send Crypto, Receive BRL” and “Send Crypto, Receive MXN.” By continuing to expand stablecoin-powered payout corridors, RedotPay is reaffirming its commitment to improving financial access in emerging markets and enabling digital money movement that is fast, inclusive, and transparent.

Through its partnership with Ripple, RedotPay is taking another step toward redefining the intersection of digital assets and real-world payments—delivering solutions that bring global finance closer to instant, affordable, and borderless value transfer.
