SimplePay has announced it is offering new UBER Lagos users two free rides. To get the free rides, SimplePay enjoins new users to click the “Get Uber” button in the latest version of the SimplePay web and mobile apps.
SimplePay in a statement said its new users could also get the free rides when they sign up for the web and mobile financial service.
SimplePay CEO, Simeon Ononobi said of the offer, “SimplePay is committed to working with the best local and global companies to bring value to our customers. This is just the start of great things that we will be doing with UBER.”
He added that UBER and SimplePay are working on an integration so that UBER riders in Nigeria will be able to use SimplePay to pay for their UBER rides. This he said is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2015.
