Standard Bank are bringing together policymakers, investors and corporates to discuss investment in Africa at the Standard Bank Africa Investors Conference that kicks off at the Standard Bank London offices. Finance ministers from several key African countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda and Zambia, as well as central bank governors and deputy governors, will attend the annual event being held at our London office.
Representatives from other countries will also be there, including those of South Africa, Kenya, Mozambique, Zambia and Rwanda.
The Africa Investors Conference provides a unique, high-level networking platform that enables international institutional investors to engage with Africa’s most successful corporates as well as key Africa policy makers.
The conference format consists of one-on-one and small group business meetings that allow attendees to network and discuss investment opportunities in Africa.
This is the fourth year that Standard Bank is sponsoring this prestigious event. Last year a total of 1,069 investors meetings were held over three days. Standard Bank connected 180 investors, representing 107 individual funds, 33 corporates and 11 policy makers.
This year 41 African corporates, 86 investment companies and 13 policy makers are due to attend.
