Wincor Nixdorf, one of the world’s leading suppliers of IT solutions for banks and retail companies, has expanded its range of robust, compact ATMs in the ProCash family with a new weatherized system. ProCash 285’s simple and intuitive design allows for easy cash withdrawals. The system can also be easily adapted to meet diverse, fast-changing customer needs. And like all products in the ProCash line, it reflects the best of German engineering.
Flexible hardware and software architecture
The rear-load system is adaptable to variable environmental conditions that require robust technology. Designed for through-the-wall installations, the compact system fits easily into wall openings. It has capacity for up to four cash cassettes and features flexible hardware and software configurations, which, together with upgrades and module modifications, enable a high level of customization. The use of standardized interfaces allows ProCash 285 to be seamlessly integrated into existing bank networks. Windows 7 or Windows XP Professional are available as operating systems.
Comprehensive Security Suite
Moreover, comprehensive security features on the ProCash 285 offer effective prevention against system tampering such as skimming or cash trapping. Biometric sensors and cameras can also be integrated into the system to identify users.
“On the one hand, bank clients in Asia Pacific expect user-friendly, secure and fast ATM service without having to enter a branch,” said Alvin Ng, Vice President Banking of Wincor Nixdorf. “On the other hand, it is important for financial institutions to operate easily serviceable machines with high system availability. The ProCash 285 was designed exactly to meet these needs.”
Tailored service ensures high System availability
Wincor Nixdorf’s manufacturer service is available as an option for the ProCash285 as part of the complete solution offer. Tailored services enable the highest possible system availability and security due to standardized service processes and efficient remote management based on the Wincor Nixdorf eServices Platform. By request, banks can transfer their complete IT operations and control of their cash processes to Wincor Nixdorf’s service organization.
