Cardtronics, Inc. announced the completion of an ATM installation project linked to a significant expansion of its relationship with Bi-Lo Holdings, LLC, which is the parent company of BI-LO, Harveys and Winn-Dixie grocery stores, and the fifth-largest conventional supermarket chain in the United States. Cardtronics is the world’s largest retail ATM owner/operator and a preferred provider of ATM services to Bi-Lo Holdings.
As part of an ATM services relationship that began with Winn-Dixie in 2003, Cardtronics owned and operated approximately 470 cash machines for that grocery store in 2013 when Bi-Lo Holdings agreed to transition additional locations and banner names to Cardtronics. With the completion of its ATM installation project, Cardtronics now owns and operates nearly 800 ATMs at BI-LO, Harveys and Winn-Dixie grocery stores, located throughout eight Southeastern states. Cardtronics also has expansion rights for future Bi-Lo Holdings stores.
