Datacard Group recently announced that they exhibited at the Technology Providers Exhibition Cum Meet event in India, which was organized by the Department of Financial Services at the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. This exclusive event brought various technology providers together to identify key technologies for the financial services market.
The Department of Financial Services recently mandated a new policy the Financial Inclusion Plan which will ensure access of financial services to all households in both urban and rural areas of India. The Government of India organized the Technology Providers Exhibition Cum Meet event in order to understand the available technology in the market that could enable them to implement this new program. Technology requirements include global interoperability and compliance with global standards to ensure success.
