NBC Bank has underscored the need for Tanzanians to capitalise on the technological revolution in the banking sector that could play a key role in fast tracking human development.
This was said in Dar es Salaam by the NBC Bank Direct and Development Manager, Mr Amos Lyimo, after launching salary account that will provide opportunity for bank customers to win various cash prizes and many other benefits.
“Salary account that targets new and present customers is not only a door for many NBC services in over 50 branches countrywide but also linking easing access to other economic activities,” he said adding that the technological change in the banking sector is increasing efficiency in service delivery.
Using mobile banking services for bank clients to execute transactions is no more an option but also less costly, safe and stress free.
He said the call to open salary account is a series of the bank’s many products that would be run in a three months campaign where over 100 winners will be picked and walk away with various cash prizes and free banking services.
He said 45 winners from the group of new clients who will open bank account during the campaign period would be walking away with various cash prizes worth over 20m/-.
The existing customers will on their part benefit from various free services like free mobile banking. He added to become material for winning the cash prizes, customers should perform various transactions using the bank mobile services and ATMs.
The NBC Bank Acting Head of Retail Banking said “This is an opportunity for Tanzanians to own bank account, win not only the variety of cash prizes but also access the many other banking services for stress free transactions,”
